With a repertoire based on Finland Swedish folk music, the members of the ensemble Rie always want to make sure their music is danceable. The group’s repertoire includes both traditional tunes and original compositions by Johanna Lönngren. Rie’s playful arrangements add contemporary tonal structures to ancient melodies, inviting audiences to move their feet and dance.
