Ruttusound‘s sound world is made of warm rhythms played on the northern kantele. Released in February 2024, the debut album Tropikantele explores the bright sound of the kantele in combination with influences from music styles born in tropical latitudes, such as reggae, dub, ska, cumbia, bossa nova, molam and amapiano. In addition, the danceable music of Ruttusound embraces hip-hop, downtempo and folktronica.
