WED 3.8. 16:00 Puuluup

The Estonian talharpa duo Puuluup sends vibrations from horsehair strings through effect blocks and a looper. The soft sighs from these ancient instruments join together with electronically amplified echoes, knocks, creaks and crackles, while maintaining a naturalistic sound. Puuluup was chosen as the Ensemble of the Year at the Estonian Music Awards last January, and the duo’s second album Viimane suusataja (2021) was the Estonian Folk Music Album of the Year.
