ESPAVISION 11.–12. May 2007

Espavision was a showcase for two Helsinki summer festivals, Jazz-Espa and Etno-Espa. During the two days the audience had the possibility to hear some of the most interesting and high-level contemporary folk and jazz groups of Finland.

Espavision was organised by Etno-Espa Association and Finnish Jazz Federation and sponsored by Finnish Composers' Copyright Society Teosto.

“The Eurovision victory of Lordi was a great triumph for all Finns, giving a healthy push to the nation's self-esteem. The flush of victory will berepeated during the Eurovision Contest in Helsinki. However, only a few inhabitants of the capital will be able to experience the Contests live.

In order to offer all residents, Eurovision guests and other travellers a chance to enjoy diverse Finnish music live, right in the heart of the city, the Composers' Copyright Society Teosto chose a partnership with Espavision, which is an excellent premium of the Eurovision.”
