The Estonian duo Puuluup became known to international audiences at the latest when they represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest final in 2024. The duo sings about wind turbines, heroes of Polish TV series, Vormsi fat cakes – and of course, skiing.

Talharpas, traditional Estonian instruments, are passed through a looper, and old and new grip each other like rain and sleet in Puuluup’s pieces. The duo draws inspiration from Finnish jouhikko tradition, blues, and many musical traditions around the world.

The band started in 2014, and its members are Ramo Teder (solo artist Pastacas) and Marko Veisson (who is also an anthropologist). Puuluup’s first album ”Süüta mu lumi” was released in 2018 and their second ”Viimane suusataja” in 2021.
