HUIPPU is a fiery folk band that performs with great enthusiasm and youthful energy. The group made its breakthrough with its debut album, released in spring 2025, as well as with standout performances at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival’s Showcase stage. The album, highlighting the band’s distinctive and fresh sound, has attracted significant attention from both audiences and radio, and has been nominated for an award at the Music Publishers’ Gala. In January 2026, HUIPPU was awarded Newcomer of the Year at the Eläköön Folk! Gala. The band is currently preparing its second album, set for release in autumn 2026.
